Everyday until today, June 18, I have been working on El Brujo. Tikoy approved the first cut of 2/3 of the film – Director’s Cut Version [the rest are still to be shot]… So, I wasn’t able to give much time to prepare for the showing of my own film, A MI PATRIA which is going to be screened tomorrow. Just had a nap and ran to CSB this afternoon for coordination and updating purposes. In fact, I have yet to prepare the DVDs that I’ll project. Anyway, for details here’s what I got from fb:

· Canto de Maria Clara / Awit ni Maria Clara [ Interpreted in FSL by Jorrelle Faytaren ];
· A las Flores de Heidelberg / To the Flowers of Heidelberg [Interpreted in FSL by Romalito Mallari] and
· Mi Ultimo Adios[ Interpreted in FSL by Aldrin Gabriel ].All poems were written by Dr. Jose Rizal and all with subtitles. DLS-CSB’s very own dance ambassadors, Silent Steps are also included in the film.
Originally entitled “Mga Natatanging Tula ni Rizal sa Wikang Senyas,” A mi Patria was produced by Miryad Visyon in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the DLS-CSB School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies. Direction and editing by Miranamedina.
