A film starred in by Edna Luna and Zaldy Zchornack produced in 1957. A comedy-drama, “Bakya Mo Neneng” was a remake of Premiere Productions’ post-liberation hit of the same title. Bob Soler was first introduced in this movie.

Are any of Gerry de Leon’s films available on DVD? If not, are there any plans to restore his films and have them released on DVD?
I would certainly enjoy watching his “obra maestras” just in case there will be special screenings again. Please keep me informed.

I do not know of any existing DVDs… you may get in touch and inquire directly from the Society of Filipino Archivists for Film. They have started restoring some Filipino classic films. I also missed the retrospective showing of Mang Gerry’s movies at the CCP during his Centennial Year.
