Consider the root word slime [/slīm/] n. moist, soft and slippery substance. We found this sign outside a Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant. With just a letter [M] missed from SLIMMING, the word offered another meaning. Even in sign language, the intended meaning may change with incorrect curve of the hand, fingers, and facial expressions.
