Bulaklak ng Banaba

September 9, 2012

The fotos were taken from…. can you guess where?

It was about 5.30 pm. The colors caught my attention, I couldn’t resist from taking snapshots of banaba flowers abundant in Manila Memorial Park…Yes, the flowers were taken at the MMP! That was last September 2, my mother’s death anniversary. I was so happy at the outcome of the first foto. It’s as if it went through the photoshop phase. Parang may two layers. But I just shot what I saw; what I saw was what I got, so, what you looked at is what I got. Haha!

Banaba, with scientific name Lagerstroemia speciosa Linn. is quite common in our country as medicinal and ornamental plants as well. [To read about banaba — its technical and medicinal properties, click Banaba.html]
