Ticket to Life will have 18 Bronze recipients and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines will have 51 Bronze recipients.
It is my pleasure to invite you to the AWARDS CEREMONY on February 13, 2012, 3:00 pm to be held ARG Theater, 5th floor, DLS-CSB Taft Campus. Let us witness and give recognition to our young people who were able to achieve their goals. Usec. Leon Flores III of the National Youth Commission with Mae Paner aka Juana Change are our guest speakers.
The International Award is an exciting self-development programme available to all 14 to 25 year olds. Over 7 million young people worldwide have taken up the Award challenge and this is the first batch of awardees in the Philippines. The Award is tough but it is about individual challenge, not about reaching specific standards set by someone else. Young people design their own Award Programme, set their own goals, and record their own progress. The only person they compete against is themselves, by challenging their own beliefs about what they can achieve.
Doors to the ARG theater will open by 2:00 pm. If you need parking will email me back. parking is available at the SDA building, V. Cruz. You make enter through the back gate of the Taft campus. I will need your confirmation and the names of your guests/delegation for the gatepass.
