Shooting with Deaf Interpreters_Rizal’s Song of Maria Clara and To the Philippines

Tomorrow, Friday, September 23, I am shooting with Aldrin Gabriel [again!] and Jorelle the Deaf interpretation of Dr. Jose Rizal’s Awit ni Maria Clara and Sa Filipinas. The target sked is as follows:

VENUE: RIZAL SHRINE, CALAMBA and BANTAYOG NI RIZAL, AT THE PLAZA PARK, CALAMBA

4 a.m. – CALL TIME / ASSEMBLY at CSB SDEAS
5 a.m. – PULL OUT from CSB TO GO TO CALAMBA, LAGUNA
7:00 a.m. – START SHOOT – TO THE PHILIPPINES with ALDRIN and CJ? As Mother Philippines
8:00 a.m – BREAKFAST

(PROCEED TO RIZAL’S HOUSE AFTER SHOOT AT THE PLAZA)
SHOOT OF SONG OF MARIA CLARA WITH JORELLE and CJ?

12:00 – LUNCH

Last Tuesday, I went myself to the Office of the Mayor of Calamba, Laguna to get the permit to shoot at the plaza. It was Gov. Jeorge Estregan who told me that a permit is needed.

I was impressed. Furthermore, I found the employees to be very kind, and courteous. It feels good to be in a government office with an air of efficiency in their workers. I easily got the permit that we needed to shoot To The Philippines at their Plaza where the tallest monument of Rizal is located. Congratulations to Mayor Joaquin Chipeco Jr. for having such a wonderful environment…and nice employees!
