Production Meeting_Flowers of Heidelberg in Filipino Sign Language_August 10

I set the production meeting of the key members of Project Rizal tomorrow, Wednesday, August 10 at 1.30 p.m. The meeting will be held at DLS-CSB SDEAS at the PEN Conference Room. This is in preparation for the shoot of the interpretation of Dr. Jose Rizal’s FLOWERS OF HEIDELBERG in Filipino Sign Language. I am thinking of scheduling the shooting at the end of August. The poem will be interpreted by Romalito Mallari, SDEAS graduate.

Arlene Flores of NCCA meanwhile told me yesterday that they are also meeting to discuss tomorrow if they would allow me to use MI PRIMERA INSPIRACION as a replacement to the controversial SA AKING KABATA, a poem now being contested as written not by Rizal but by his cousin. It is listed in the Appendix of NHCP 2011 publication entitled POEMS OF RIZAL. In case they do not approve of it, I will just have Rizal’s sonnet entitled TO THE PHILIPPINES interpreted.
