Language of the Street

Last night, I found more books by Quijano de Manila (Nick Joaquin) — “Language of the Street and Other Essays” (1980) and “Gloria Diaz & Other Delineations” (1977). I didn’t like the latter as much as the earlier books “Nora…and Ronnie…” I have yet to read “Language…” The title sounds very interesting and the cover design is for me just as interesting and quite nice.
