Today, October 23, the 2nd Regional Autism Conference started at SM City Cebu Trade Hall. The theme is “The Spinning Truth Behind Autism—Teaming Up with Families, Professionals and Society.”

Cavan, MD, a pediatrician and a geneticist; Ms. Christianne Marie C. Andigan, MHlthSc, OTRP, currently the Program Coordinator and occupational therapist of Emmanuel Foundation for Children with Special Needs, Inc. in Iloilo City; Dr. Mercedes Adorio, Ph.D. in Educational Psychology & Educational Sociology in UP; Prof. Abelardo Apollo I. David, Jr., MOccThy, OTRP, Executive Director and founder of the Independent Living Learning Centre (ILLC) in Manila, Cebu and Davao; Dr. Myra Altonaga, a Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician; Ms. Mae Sadicon, a BS Speech Pathology graduate of the UP Manila College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP); Dr. Renato delos Santos, BS in Biology from the University of San Carlos, Philippines; Ms. Erlinda U. Koe, chair emeritus of Autism Society Philippines; Mr. Anthony S.
